Hyderabad, India, October 05, 2011 – PEBS Pennar bags an order form ITC Limited,India. The end user will be Surya Nepal Private Limited, one of the largest private enterprises in Nepal and a joint venture between ITC India and British American Tobacco (Investment) Limited, UK. The building will be for a cigarette manufacturing unit and is located in Pohkhara, Nepal. The total area will be 8800 sqm, spread over 3 buildings.The buildings will have curved roof with Double Lok® for 100% leak-proof roofing.

» Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd. bags Reliance Distribution Center Order through L&T
Hyderabad, India, September 13, 2011 – Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd. (PEBS Pennar), a subsidiary of Pennar Industries Limited, announces receipt of a prestigious order for supply and installation of 400,000 square feet pre-engineered steel building for Reliance Retail distribution center at Pune. The Company received this order from L&T. Reliance Retail’s Pune distribution center is the first among the many planned distribution centers across India. The timeline for execution of the project is 5 months.

PEBS Pennar has been issued an FM approval certificate for its 100 % leak proof Double-Lok standing seam roof systems. The approval certifies our roofing systems as Class 1 roofing systems.

PEBS Pennar has recently bagged an order from Indian Corporation. The project is coming up in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The building which is a warehouse, will have an area of 6,00,150 sft.


» PEBS Pennar bags order from L&T for Chennai Metro Rail Workshops
Pennar Engineered Building Systems (PEBS) has bagged a prestigious order from L&T for the first phase of construction of Pre Engineered Steel Buildings for chennai metro railway. This order is for the design and construction of the workshop buildings with a covering area of 45000 sq. mt, to be set up at Koyambedu in Chennai city.


» PEBS Pennar bags a G+5 floors order from Bharat Biotech
PEBS Pennar recently bagged an order from Bharat Biotech. The building has a span of 23 m with G+5 floors and eave height of 33m. The project is located on the outskirts of Hyderabad and the end use of the building will be for bulk drug manufacturing.

» PEBS Pennar receives the first ‘Gold’ Rating for a Green Factory in India
PEBS Pennar’s plant at Sadashivpet, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, has become the first factory in India to receive Gold Rating under the Green factory rating system from the Indian Green Building Council. The plaque and the certificate were awarded at the Green Building Council held in Chennai on 7th & 8th October 2010. PEBS Pennar is also a proud member of the Indian Green Building Council.

PEBS Pennar has its order book of Rs 270 crores. PEBSL has completed execution of around INR 34 Cr in FY’09-10. In the current financial year PEBSL has completed execution of around INR 74 Cr (April 2010 to September 2010). The company currently has an order backlog of around INR 170 Cr. It has bagged some prestigious projects from companies like Schneider Electric, Ultra Tech, L&T, Dr.Reddy Labs etc. The company was incorporated in January 2008 and began its commercial operations from January 2010.

PEBS Pennar bags order from Asian Color Coated Ispat. The building is for their new steel factory at Khapoli, Maharashtra. The plant area is estimated to be around 37000sq.m


» PEBS Pennar achieves a unique order from Ultra Tech.
PEBS Pennar bags a very prestigious order from Ultra Tech. The building will be located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is a 96 m clear span building with a 27 m peak height. This will be the single largest clear span building ever executed by a PEB manufacturer in India and the middle east.


» PEBS Pennar wins order from LNV Technology.
LNV has given us the order for the design, manufacture and execution of their factory in Trichy. The building will have a mammoth total overhead crane capacity of 250 metric tons. This is the first PEB in India with an EOT crane capacity of 250MT.


» PEBS Pennar bags an order from HCC.
PEBS Pennar bags an order from Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) for their structural steel project in Sambalpur for Aditya Birla’s smelter plant.


» PEBS Pennar expanding its capacity.
PEBS Pennar has begun the expansion works for its unit at Sadasivept in Medak district, Andhra Pradesh. An additional beam line with 20,000 MT capacity is being added at the same location, which is on the Mumbai highway, so as to meet burgeoning demand for pre engineered buildings and allied products.

PEBS Pennar has also made a foray into the international markets. It has executed some crucial projects in Africa. The buildings constructed by PEBS Pennar include shopping malls, warehouses etc.


» PEBS Pennar goes Solar.
A 25 kW Solar PV system has been installed at the factory in Sadasivpet. The system is connected to the auxiliary loads at the premises so as to augment its power supply and reduce the dependency on conventional power. The 25 kW system also helped in garnering points for the Green factory certification.
